Testimony: I was not raised in the church, but thanks to my great grandmother, I attended sporadically. There was a wonderful Sunday School teacher named Elsie Wright, who always made me feel welcome when I came and encouraged me to attend SUPER Week when I was 10 years old. That camp is where I heard the Holy Spirit speak to me and I became a Christ follower there. I was baptized at my grandmother’s church after that. God put Mrs. Wright in my life to save me, and that is why I am so passionate about children attending Sunday School.

Describe your area of ministry: The Children’s Ministry encompasses the children who belong to the church as well as their families. It also includes outreach into the community.

Why does your ministry exist? The Children’s Ministry exists to share the love of Jesus with children. We hope to provide a safe, nurturing environment where children can learn biblical truths and experience God’s love for them.

Why should someone choose to be involved in your ministry? God sent a precious Sunday School teacher into my life and because of her, I am a follower of Christ. Anyone can be that person to a child by serving in the Children’s Ministry. It is also LOTS of fun to serve children!

How would you describe your passion in 1 sentence? I am passionate about sharing the good news about Jesus with all children and providing them with a loving environment where they are safe and can feel God’s love through His people.

Hobbies: Read for pleasure, go to the beach, watch Hayden play sports

Fun Facts: Lemon cupcakes are my guilty pleasure.
