Missions Groups: 1st Grade - 6th Grade: 7pm - 7:50pm

Music Time for Kids

In Music Time for Kids, we learn about God’s love for us and how to worship Him through many different art forms. We have many engaging and creative hands-on activities to get kids learning and discovering as we move through the year.

Singing, movement, playing a variety of classroom instruments and creating visual art are some of the activities each child can participate in. We use these different modalities to experience music and work toward performances at the end of each semester.

GA’s and RA’s

Girls in Action (GA) and Royal Ambassadors (RA) are mission-based discipleship groups for girls and boys in grades 1-6. GAs and RAs provide opportunities for children to grow spiritually as they learn about missions, pray for missions, do missions, and participate in the work of the church. Each month we focus on one set of missionaries. We learn about the culture of the place they are serving, how exactly they serve in their communities, and ways we can serve our community. We do several mission projects throughout the year that give the children hands on opportunities to serve others. Guest speakers join us throughout the year to tell us about their mission experience and answer any questions they may have about what it means to be on mission for Christ. We do all of this while having a ton of fun and we hope you’ll join us this year on Wednesday nights!

Sunday Morning

Start by visiting our children's check-in, where you'll be registered and given a sticker with a number on it. You'll need this number to pick up your child after the service, and in the event you are needed, it will also flash on digital screens in the Sanctuary and Community Life Center.

Please inform the childcare workers of any allergies, or other information about your child we should know.

Please note: Nursing moms are invited to use the Nursing Mom’s Room adjacent to the Infant Room (124A) or the designated area near the CLC Rec Center Desk.

Illness

Please do not bring a child who has had any symptoms of illness in the past 24 hours including:

  • Fever

  • Unexplained rash

  • Vomiting or Diarrhea

  • Sores with drainage

  • Severe cold symptoms.

We are not permitted to administer medication.

Childcare for Infants & Nursery

Childcare is occasionally provided for infants through grade school for scheduled meetings and activities
Parents can help by: Providing formulas, juice, a pacifier, diapers, wipes or any other items necessary for your infant and labeling bottles, cups, etc. We have diaper bag tags available at the Welcome Desk.

Preschoolers

Preschoolers all develop at their own unique pace. Your child will be promoted to the next class on an “as needed” basis until they reach the two-year-old classes and then on a yearly basis. Activity level, age, temperament, and class composition will determine promotions.

Please discuss separation anxiety with the teacher if this is a problem for your child. Most children experience this several times during the first three years. We have found the best cure is consistent attendance. Because children are alerted to changes in the room by the entrance of those other than their teachers, we ask that whenever possible you knock and wait for the teacher to bring your child when picking up. We love our grandmas, grandpas, aunts and uncles, but please have them visit outside the room. Siblings are not permitted to pick up preschoolers unless it is determined in advance.

Connect with your child at home!

Since parents are the biggest influence in a child’s spiritual life, it’s important to bring faith into the home. Here are some easy ways you can include God in everyday conversations with your child.
