CLC Worship Leader and Director of Media Ministries
Testimony: As a teenager, I was so beaten up by the world, that even though I believed in God, I had lost all hope. But God (best two words ever) saved my life and my soul. He gave me purpose and delivered me!
Describe your area of ministry: In CLC Worship we sing Psalms, Hymns, and Spiritual Songs (Ephesians 5:19-21) with the instrumentation of a modern Praise band and choir. We host a quarterly worship night called Overflow where we focus on worshiping God in spirit and truth without the structural necessities of Sunday morning worship. We meet in the upper level of the CLC.
Media Ministry supports all other ministries in the church in their use of technology. Our primary focus is supporting the two Worship Services and providing live streams of all Worship Services and Bible Studies to those who cannot be here in person.
Why does your ministry exist? Music and Worship Ministry at Bonsack Baptist exists to glorify God and build believers through robust artistic expression in both of our Sunday Morning Worship services. We hope to create a hospitable worship environment while maintaining the theologically rich culture of Bonsack Baptist and striving always toward Christ-like excellence.
Media Ministry exists to glorify God by amplifying the quality and reach of the ministries of Bonsack Baptist. Our goal is to be invisible while focusing the eyes of the world on Christ.
Why should someone choose to be involved in your ministry? Anyone who loves worshiping the Lord with music is welcome to audition for the CLC Praise Band or join the CLC Worship Choir.
Anyone who is interested in technology or likes to serve in the background would be a great fit for Media Ministry.
How would you describe your passion in 1 sentence? Hearing the people of God raise their voices in worship and seeing them live as the hands and feet of Christ is my greatest joy!
Hobbies: Word Puzzles, Jigsaw Puzzles, Art Projects, Reading
Fun Facts: My husband and I sang on the stage of the Grand Ol Opry House. It might have been our high school graduation, but still, tickets were involved, so it’s legit.
