The Adult Choir, Chamber Choir, soloists, and orchestra will present Michael John Trotta’s new setting of Seven Last Words, a poignant major work that musically frames Christ’s final statements on the cross. Trotta’s setting has been described as “a modern classic” and “a new American masterwork.” The piece will be presented in conjunction with a sermon series on the seven statements, currently in progress by Dr. Cadenhead. Join us on March 25 for performances offered at 3 or 6:30 p.m. This event is free and open to the public. Tickets are not required; seating is on a first-come, first-serve basis.
