Wednesday, August 17

  • 6 p.m.: Music Time for Kids Leadership Meeting

Wednesday, November 2

  • By this day, each director should submit program information to Barry/Sallie—a list of all singers (Barry/Sallie will give you a computer list that will need to be checked for accuracy) and a list of leaders. Beginning tonight, leaders will bring all MM and YM singers to C224 at 6:05. Each age group will have an assigned room for checking in and enjoying an early bird activity, beginning at 5:55.

Wednesday, November 9

  • 5 p.m.:Power House Party for 6th Grade Young Musicians

Wednesday, November 16

  • 6:05 p.m.: Rehearsal in the sanctuary for Music Time. By this day, each director should send home a letter containing information about the Christmas program—arrival time and appropriate dress. (Usually Sunday clothes.) Please provide a copy of your letter to Barry/Sallie.
  • Tonight you will receive a rough draft of the Christmas program. Please proof read the program and return it to Sallie before leaving.

Wednesday, November 23

  • No Music Time for Kids! Thanksgiving.

Wednesday, December 7

  • 6 p.m.:Rehearsal time in the sanctuary for all Music Time for Kids groups. Tonight you will receive the final rough draft of the Christmas program. Please proof read the program and return it to Sallie before leaving.

Sunday, December 11

  • 9 & 10:30 a.m. Music Makers & Young Musicians sing for both morning worship services.
  • 5:15 p.m. Music Makers 1, 2, & 3 & Young Musicians 4, 5, & 6 rehearse in Sanctuary.
  • 6:30 p.m. Children’s Christmas Program
  • Each preschool director determines the arrival time of their singers in order to allow adequate time for final preparations and communicates this information to the parents. (NOTE: PreK and K enter the sanctuary at approx. 6:45 for their part of the program.) Last night of Music Time for Kids until January 11, 2011.

  • 6 p.m.: Music Time for Kids Leadership Meeting

  • 6 p.m.: Music Time for Kids resumes

Wednesday, April 4

  • By this day, each director should send home a letter containing information about the spring program—arrival time and appropriate dress. (Usually Sunday clothes.) Your information can also be included in the Music Time for Kids Spring Newsletter that Barry/Sallie will send out to all parents.
  • By this day, each director should submit program information to Barry/ Sallie—including a list of all singers (Sallie will give you a computer list that will need to be checked for accuracy), a list of leaders, and a list of the songs you will present with composer or arranger. ALSO, if using a CD accompaniment, please include a copy of the CD with the appro-priate tracks marked. If you are using any other type of accompaniment (piano, guitar, etc.), please indicate this on your music list.

  • All Music Time groups meet usual time. MM 1 will meet from 6-7:30 p.m.
  • Music Makers 2, 3, and Young Musicians meet until 7:30 p.m. in the sanctuary

Saturday, May 19

  • 3– 5 p.m. Dress rehearsal for the Spring Musical for grades 2–6 in the sanctuary. Please mark this date on your family calendar now so that nothing else will be scheduled over this important rehearsal.
    **Music Makers 1 group does not attend this rehearsal **

Sunday, May 20 

  • 9 & 10:30 a.m.: Music Makers and Young Musicians sing for both morning services.
  • 6:30 p.m.: Music Time For Kids Spring Music Program

Wednesday, May 23

  • Music Time Groups host parties/open house GA’s and RA’s meet 6 until 7:30 p.m.
    (No Music Maker’s or Young Musician’s)
